Yung Gravy is urging social media users to stop bothering Addison Rae’s mom, Sheri Easterling, after clips of the pair making out at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards went viral.
“she’s newly single and living her life. leave her alone lol,” the musician, 26, wrote on Twitter in response to a video of him kissing the mother-of-three, 42, on the red carpet.
The unlikely couple made a surprise appearance at the awards show in Newark, NJ, on Sunday, where eagle-eyed fans even spotted them making out in the audience.
“Is yung gravy on stage with addison rae’s mom ??????” one Twitter user commented on a clip, which showed the duo locking lips while Nicki Minaj accepted the Best Hip-Hop accolade for her hit “Do We Have A Problem?”
“No f–king way yung gravy just brought addison raes mom [to] the vmas,” another bewildered fan wrote.
On the red carpet, the “Betty” rapper exclusively told Page Six that he and Easterling met on “the internet” and “FaceTimed” prior to meeting in person.
“I hit on her first. I knew of her, and I thought she was fine,” he recalled.
“She’s like a Southern belle, and I’m a Northern boy, so it felt really cute and wholesome. … [I’m] into MILFs, and she’s kinda the queen of MILFs.”
Not long after, Easterling’s estranged husband, Monty Lopez – who allegedly had a five-month affair with a 25-year-old influencer – posted a shady response to the pair’s red carpet appearance via his Instagram Story.
“Thank you @younggravy for taking the leftovers,” Lopez, 46, captioned a shirtless selfie.
“I would rather spend time with my daughter and 2 grandkids that Sheri Nicole made me abandon as a child in order to be with her,” the embattled influencer continued.
“Never let a woman make you choose between her and or your blood child!”
In addition to Rae, 21, Easterling and Lopez are parents to sons Enzo, 14, and Lucas, 8.
