Ubisoft has finally shown off gameplay for The Division Heartland. While only brief, we get our first look at what to expect from the free-to-play multiplayer shooter.
The Division Heartland gameplay was shown during Ubisoft’s Ubisoft Forward presentation. According to creative director Keith Evans, The Division Heartland is a “free-to-play survival action shooter set in The Division universe.”

While only small snippets of gameplay were shown, Evans did treat us to a few new details about the game. The Division Heartland offers “a beautiful new world to explore.” You will play as a Division agent who is tasked with “protecting Silver Creek — a small town in middle America — from enemy factions, rogue agents, and a deadly contamination.”
The Division Heartland is a new standalone experience that “ties directly” into the overall The Division timeline and “introduces all-new characters and storylines to the franchise.”
More The Division Heartland details were recently leaked when Ubisoft seemingly set a Ubisoft Store page live by accident.
Ubisoft is also planning some closed beta tests for the game ahead of its release. If you’re interested, you can sign up now for a chance to get in on these playtests over The Division Heartland website.
The Division Heartland release date hasn’t been set, but Ubisoft has now confirmed it will be coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC.
