Focus Entertainment has revealed the resolution and performance modes we can expect to see for the vampire-slaying action of Evil West on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
Evil West‘s PC specifications have been revealed alongside the individual console resolution and performance modes for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PlayStation. The vampire-filled reimagining of the Old West from Shadow Warrior developer, Flying Wild Hog, launches next week.
Flying Wild Hog’s Evil West has both Quality and Performance modes on Xbox Series X
If you plan on playing Evil West on PC, you can see the specs above for both the minimum and recommended hardware configurations. For console players on Xbox Series X, you’ll have the option to run the game in two modes: ‘Quality’ will give you 4K/30fps and ‘Performance’ will give you 1080p/60fps. Xbox One X consoles will run the game at the same resolution and framerate as the Series X’s ‘Quality mode: 4K/30fps. Xbox Series S, Xbox One S, and Xbox One consoles offer 1080p/30fps.
While it’s a little disappointing to see Evil West’s Performance mode on Xbox Series X locked at 1080p, the developer’s previous game, Shadow Warrior 3, offered the same and we had a fantastic time playing it — check out our Shadow Warrior 3 impressions to see what we thought.
