Tales of Symphonia comes to Xbox after 20-year wait in February

Bandai Namco has announced a release date for Tales of Symphonia Remastered, confirming that the legendary JRPG will come to Xbox in February.

Tales of Symphonia first launched in 2003 on the Nintendo GameCube before eventually making its way to PS2 and later PS3. Now, after 20 years, Xbox players will finally be able to get in on the action with Tales of Symphonia Remastered, which launches on February 17th, 2023 for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One — as if February wasn’t busy enough for new game releases!

Tales of Symphonia Remastered offers “HD visual enhancements, gameplay improvements, and new features” over the original game and will “follow the journey of Lloyd Irving and his friends as they try to save Sylvarant and Tethe’alla, two inextricably linked worlds, where the rebirth of one means the decline of the other.” Supporting up to four players, “players will experience a profound storyline with endearing characters in a rich and lively world, along with beautiful anime-like cutscenes designed by the renowned artist Kosuke Fujishima.”
