Update: AEW games has now stepped in to the ring to debunk the rumour, saying that AEW: Fight Forever isn’t anticipated as being a part of “any monthly gaming services.”

Original Story:
A new report from
Wrestlezone claims that multiple sources have confirmed that AEW: Fight Forever will launch into Game Pass, joining the Xbox subscription service on day one. This rumour was then corroborated by freelance journalist Mike Straw, who also claimed that the upcoming wrestling game will join Xbox Game Pass at launch.

AEW: Fight Forever could be coming to Xbox Game Pass at launch

AEW: Fight Forever is being developed by Yuke’s, which is responsible for numerous games in the WWE series. According to the game’s store listing, AEW: Fight Forever “combines that nostalgic arcade-wrestler feel with innovative All Elite Wrestling finishers and tandem offensive moves.” It will also feature “the best of the best from that talent roster” and include a “deep career mode, wrestler customisation, signature AEW arenas, and more match types than you can count, including some good ol’ fashioned, unsanctioned fun.”

Unfortunately, no release date has been given for AEW: Fight Forever, but rumours suggest Yuke’s was aiming for a ‘fall’ release, though this is now looking unlikely, considering we haven’t heard much on the game in a while now. Regarding Xbox Game Pass, it’s probably worth taking this news with a pinch of salt until publisher THQ Nordic officially confirms the wrestling title for the service.
