Assassin’s Creed WWII Unreal Engine trailer looks perfect

Written by admin

There’s been a whole load of Assassin’s Creed news for fans to get excited about lately. We recently saw the announcement of a number of new titles in the series, including, at long last, an Assassin’s Creed game set in feudal Japan. We don’t know a whole lot about that one just yet, mind you, but it’s currently in development by Ubisoft, and is called Codename Red (for now).

Perhaps it’s for that reason that fans are seemingly dreaming bigger than ever before when it comes to concepts for the series they’d like to see become reality. Over on YouTube, TeaserPlay has created a beautiful trailer imagining what an Assassin’s Creed game set in France during WWII would look like, and it looks brilliant.

But before we get into it, take a look at the trailer for Assassin’s Creed Mirage below.

The creator has used Unreal Engine 5 to make the trailer, utilising ray tracing, Lumen and Nanite to make the visuals pop. Although it’s just a concept trailer, they’ve done a fantastic job of putting it together – take a look below.

“One of the environments that fans have been dreaming of for a long time is occupied Paris during World War II,” TeaserPlay wrote in the video description. “In this video, we tried to provide a general picture of this dream, we hope that Ubisoft will realise this potential and we will see an official Assassin’s Creed in World War II.”

Fans in the comments have been sharing their love for the project: “The coolest part of Unity was playing during WW2. I really hope down the line they make a WW2 AC game,” C’est Martin commented. “Really gorgeous,” wrote HRG HRGamer.
